Everything you need to know about how we ship, what's included, and your responsibilities as the buyer.
📦 Shipping Overview
EVolve Electrics ships all orders from Boulder, Colorado, USA using UPS for standard parcel shipments and LTL Freight for oversized or heavyweight items (typically over 150 lbs).
At checkout, customers can select from all available UPS shipping services, both domestic and international, including:
- UPS Ground
- UPS 2nd Day Air
- UPS Next Day Air
- UPS Worldwide Expedited
- UPS Worldwide Saver
- UPS Standard (Canada & Mexico)
Shipping costs and estimated delivery times are calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping address, package weight, and selected service level.
⚡ Order Fulfillment
- In-stock items typically ship same day or next business day, depending on order volume and time of order.
- Orders placed by 1:00 PM Mountain Time (MST) on business days are eligible for same-day shipment.
- Orders placed after the cutoff time will ship the following business day.
- If any items are backordered or unavailable, our team will contact you promptly with an estimated lead time and fulfillment details.
- Customers will receive tracking information once the order has shipped.
🌍 International Shipping
International customers can select from all UPS international shipping services during checkout, including:
- UPS Worldwide Expedited
- UPS Worldwide Express
- UPS Worldwide Saver
- UPS Standard (Canada & Mexico)
Please note:
- All shipments are DAP Boulder, Colorado, USA.
- The recipient is the importer of record and is responsible for ensuring the product can be lawfully imported into the destination country.
- All applicable import duties, customs taxes, VAT, and clearance fees are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the item or shipping cost.
- The full retail value of the product will be declared for customs purposes.
Customs delays may occur and are beyond EVolve's control. We recommend consulting your local customs office for more information on applicable regulations.
📄 Custom Shipping & Import Documentation
Every shipment includes the following standard documents at no additional charge:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading / Carrier Document
Under our FOB shipping terms, the Buyer is solely responsible for import clearance and all country-specific regulatory requirements in the destination jurisdiction.
Buyers may request that EVolve Electrics prepare or procure additional or non-standard documentation (each, a "Custom Document"), including but not limited to:
- Certificates of origin
- Legalized or apostilled documents
- Specialized customs declarations
- Phytosanitary or inspection certificates
- Consular invoices
- Any other documentation required by the destination country
Documentation Fee: $125.00 USD per Custom Document
Third-party charges (chamber of commerce, consulate, notary, etc.) invoiced separately at cost.
(a) Fee. A non-refundable documentation handling fee of $125.00 (USD) per Custom Document requested shall be assessed. This fee is in addition to the purchase price of the Products and any third-party charges, which shall be invoiced to Buyer at cost.
(b) Payment. All documentation fees and associated third-party charges are due and payable prior to the release of the requested Custom Document(s). EVolve Electrics is under no obligation to release any Custom Document until full payment is received.
(c) Timing. Custom Document requests should be submitted in writing at the time of order placement. Requests received after shipment may result in additional processing time. EVolve Electrics does not guarantee turnaround times and is not liable for delays in Buyer's import clearance arising from documentation timing.
(d) Accuracy & Liability. EVolve Electrics will prepare Custom Documents in good faith based on information available; however, the Buyer is solely responsible for verifying the accuracy, completeness, and regulatory sufficiency of all documentation for import into the destination country. EVolve Electrics makes no representation or warranty that any Custom Document will satisfy the requirements of any governmental authority.
⚠ Custom Document fees are non-refundable. To avoid delays, please submit all documentation requests at the time you place your order.
⚖️ Shipping Terms & Liability
- Title and risk of loss pass to the customer upon shipment from our facility (FOB Origin).
- EVolve Electrics is not responsible for delays due to carrier handling, weather conditions, customs clearance, or other external factors.
- All shipments must be inspected upon receipt. Any discrepancies or damages must be reported within seven (7) days of delivery.
🛡️ International Limitations & Compliance
International buyers are responsible for ensuring that products are compliant with local regulations. EVolve Electrics assumes no responsibility for improper use or installation of products outside the U.S.
