EVolve Electrics is a Colorado-based distributor and authorized reseller specializing in lithium-ion battery systems, battery management solutions (BMS), electric motors, chargers, DC-DC converters, and related components for electric vehicles, energy storage, and industrial applications. Founded in 2008, EVolve Electrics is an operating brand of Ree-v Inc., headquartered at 6880 Winchester Circle, Unit F, Boulder, CO 80301.
EVolve Electrics carries Orion BMS (Standard 02, Jr. 2, BXL, REM), Molicel lithium-ion cells (18650 and 21700 formats), LG E78 battery modules, Elcon and Zivan chargers, Valeo and Ovartech onboard chargers, Netgain and Danfoss electric motors, DC-DC converters, EV displays, contactors, and accessories. EVolve Electrics also offers proprietary products including the Lithium Blockβ„’ modular battery module (Gen 1 and Gen 2) and the MonoLithβ„’ Battery System for motorsport, aerospace, and industrial applications.
Yes. EVolve Electrics sources all products directly from each original equipment manufacturer (OEM). All items sold are genuine OEM parts backed by the manufacturer's warranty and support policies.

For custom battery systems (MonoLith Battery System, Lithium Block configurations, or custom pack builds), contact sales@evolveelectrics.com with your voltage, capacity, form factor, and application requirements. Custom and built-to-order items are non-cancelable and non-refundable upon order acceptance.

Shipping & Delivery

All orders ship from Boulder, CO 80301. In-stock items ordered before 1:00 PM MST typically ship the same business day. Domestic orders within the contiguous U.S. arrive within 2–5 business days via UPS or FedEx. Shipments over 150 lbs may ship via FedEx LTL freight.
Yes. International shipping is available upon request. All international shipments are FOB Boulder, Colorado, USA. Buyers are responsible for all import compliance, customs duties, taxes, brokerage fees, and governmental filings. Manufacturer warranties may not be valid outside the United States. Contact sales@evolveelectrics.com for international shipping quotes.
Yes. Lithium-ion cells and battery modules are classified as Class 9 Dangerous Goods under DOT, IATA, and IMDG regulations. Some carriers impose size, quantity, and destination restrictions. Ground shipping within the contiguous U.S. is typically available. International and air shipment may require additional documentation and packaging. Contact us for specific hazmat shipping guidance.
The buyer. All international shipments are FOB Boulder, CO. Buyers are the importer of record and are responsible for all customs duties, taxes, brokerage, and compliance with destination country laws. EVolve Electrics has no control over these charges or related delays.

Returns, RMA & Warranty

All returns require prior RMA authorization. Defective items reported within 7 days of receipt may be evaluated for exchange or refund following verification. Non-defective returns are subject to a 30% restocking fee and must be unused, in original, unmarked factory condition. Return shipping is the buyer's responsibility. Custom, built-to-order, opened battery cells/modules, hazardous materials, and special-order items are non-returnable.
Complete the online RMA form on our website or email sales@evolveelectrics.com. Once approved, clearly mark the RMA number on the outside of your return package and ship to: EVolve Electrics, RMA# [your number], 6880 Winchester Circle, Unit F, Boulder, CO 80301. Use a trackable, insured shipping method.
No. Opened battery cells, modules, and hazardous materials are non-returnable for safety reasons. If you received a damaged or incorrect item, notify us within 48 hours with photos at sales@evolveelectrics.com and we will arrange replacement shipping at our expense.
All products are covered by the original manufacturer's warranty. EVolve Electrics operates as a distributor and does not provide independent warranties beyond what the OEM offers. Warranty claims for manufacturing defects should be directed to the original manufacturer. EVolve Electrics may assist in coordinating manufacturer warranty claims at its discretion.
Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5–7 business days of return inspection. Returns may be subject to a restocking fee. Damaged or incomplete items may be rejected or refunded at a reduced amount.

Technical Support

Yes. EVolve Electrics provides complimentary technical support for 6 months from the shipment date to the original purchaser. Complimentary support covers installation validation, basic configuration of EVolve-supplied items, and interpretation of supplied documentation. Support is non-transferable and applies to the product configuration as shipped.

Paid / outside scope: System or application design, reconfigurations, harnesses not supplied by EVolve, third-party products not purchased from EVolve, major firmware upgrades post-delivery, on-site work, expedited response, recurring training, or team turnover re-onboarding. After six months, support may be available on a paid basis subject to scheduling and a mutually agreed written scope.
Please have the following ready: product model and serial/order number, firmware version (if applicable), system topology and wiring diagram, photos of your installation, any error logs, freeze-frames, or diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), and clear steps to reproduce the issue. Support may be paused or declined until adequate documentation is provided.

Safety & Compliance

The buyer is solely responsible for safe handling, storage, integration, and use of all high-energy and high-voltage systems, including compliance with lockout/tagout procedures, applicable electrical codes, safety standards, and training requirements. Any technical guidance provided by EVolve Electrics is advisory only. Buyers must independently validate, test, and qualify all designs and system configurations.
Product certifications (UL, CE, UN 38.3, etc.) are provided by the original manufacturer. EVolve Electrics passes through manufacturer literature and documentation but does not independently certify products. Buyers are responsible for verifying that products meet the regulatory requirements of their specific application and jurisdiction.
Some products may be subject to U.S. Export Administration Regulations (EAR), ITAR, or OFAC sanctions. Buyers are responsible for compliance with all applicable export, import, and trade control laws. EVolve Electrics does not guarantee regulatory approvals in any jurisdiction.

Yes. Commonly used in solar storage and stationary energy storage due to its compact size, efficiency, and compatibility with solar charge controllers via CANbus or analog connections.

Orion BXL & REM Modules

BXL expansion modules extend the Orion BMS to manage larger cell counts β€” up to 1,080 cells in series β€” for high-capacity battery systems.
The REM (Remote) module is designed for distributed battery sensing where modules are physically separated. BXL modules expand total cell count in centralized configurations. REM modules are not required in every BXL setup β€” only when distributed sensing is needed. Both communicate via wired CANbus.

Elcon Chargers

Yes. Elcon chargers offer user-adjustable voltage and current settings to accommodate different battery pack configurations and chemistries.

Molicel Batteries

Yes. Molicel cells are engineered for high-drain, high-performance applications and are widely used in power tools, e-mobility, aerospace, and custom battery packs requiring high continuous discharge rates.
Primarily NMC (nickel manganese cobalt) chemistry, known for high energy density, excellent cycle life, and strong thermal performance under high-drain conditions.
Purchase from authorized distributors such as EVolve Electrics. Authentic cells include manufacturer datasheets and lot traceability. All Molicel cells sold by EVolve Electrics are sourced directly from the manufacturer.

Gen 2 offers improved thermal management and higher energy density compared to Gen 1. Both are fully modular, expandable, and compatible with Orion BMS for cell-level monitoring and balancing.
Yes. Multiple modules can be combined in series or parallel to meet your target voltage and capacity. Mounting hardware and 1S busbars are available as accessories.
Yes. Fully integrated with Orion BMS for cell-level voltage monitoring, thermal sensing, and passive cell balancing.

No. Adequate environmental protection must be provided at the battery pack enclosure level to prevent condensation, water ingress, and contamination.
9 Nm Β±10% for the M6 bolt. Ensure terminal surfaces are clean and free of foreign substances before assembly.
Minimum clearance of +10 mm (without planned changes) or +15 mm (with planned EVO changes) to accommodate cell swelling and prevent mechanical stress.
Insulation resistance: 600 MΞ© (500V for 60 seconds). Dielectric voltage inspection: 2.5 kV DC.

Battery System Design & Integration

Creepage and clearance distances ensure electrical safety and reliability at high voltages by preventing arcing, tracking, and insulation breakdown between conductors. Critical for any high-voltage lithium battery system per IEC 60664, UL 2580, and related standards.
HVIL (High Voltage Interlock Loop) is a safety circuit that detects when a high-voltage connector or enclosure cover is opened or disconnected, automatically disabling the high-voltage bus. A standard safety requirement in automotive, industrial, and aerospace battery systems.
High reliability, low contact resistance, improved thermal performance, and controlled fuse-link behavior in cell-to-busbar connections. Widely used in aerospace, defense, motorsport, and EV battery packs.

Compatibility & Pairing

Depends on your pack voltage, target charge current, and BMS communication requirements. Elcon chargers are popular for CANbus integration with Orion BMS. Valeo and Ovartech offer higher power density with liquid cooling for vehicle applications. Contact us with your pack specs for a recommendation.
A typical build requires: modules, 1S busbars for series connections, the Mounting System, an Orion BMS (Jr. 2 for ≀48 cells or Standard 02 for larger configs), a compatible charger, appropriate fusing, and a contactor. Contact us for a complete bill of materials.
