The Orion 02 BMS monitors every cell for voltage and temperature, computes SOC/SOH, enforces charge/discharge limits (CCL/DCL), and drives contactors for safe, efficient operation. Its centralized architecture delivers high EMI/noise immunity while maintaining automotive-grade reliability.

How many cells can the standard Orion 02 manage?

Up to 180 series cells, configured in 12-cell increments (24–180S options).

What’s the difference between Standard and Split?

Standard is a single centralized controller; Split supervises multiple physically separated segments as one system.

Is CAN termination built-in?

Yes. Sizes 84–144: both CAN1 & CAN2 are internally terminated. All other sizes: CAN1 terminated, CAN2 unterminated.

What harness SKUs are included in the kit?

Main I/O: CWHMIO3. Current sensor harness w/ 8 thermistors: CWHCRTH8. Tap harness kit uses the appropriate 12/24/36-cell Gold-contact harness SKUs (6 ft or 12 ft, depending on selection).

Can I integrate with a charger and VCU?

Yes. Dual CAN 2.0B with configurable messaging; OBD-II support is available for diagnostics and service tools.
