Why every busbar needs a cover

Exposed busbars between series-connected Lithium Block™ modules create live conductor contact risk during assembly, service, and operation. The Busbar Cover eliminates that risk with a single snap-on part — no fasteners, no adhesive, no extra BOM lines.

  • Touch-safe operation — fully insulates the busbar connection surface between adjacent modules.
  • Fire-retardant construction — glass-filled ABS rated to UL94-V0, engineered to resist ignition and self-extinguish.

FAQs

Does the busbar cover fit both GEN 1 and GEN 2 modules?

The busbar cover is designed for the Lithium Block™ Busbar geometry shared across module generations. Check the product images to confirm fitment with your specific build.  These are universally compatible with both GEN 1 and GEN 2 modules.

How many covers do I need?

One cover per busbar. If you have 12 modules connected in series with 11 busbars between them, you need 11 covers.

Can the covers be removed and reinstalled?

Yes. The snap-lock design allows the covers to be removed for service access and snapped back into place — no consumable fasteners or adhesive.

What does UL94-V0 mean?

UL94-V0 is a flammability rating indicating the material will self-extinguish within 10 seconds of a flame being removed, with no flaming drips. It's the highest V-rating in the UL94 vertical burn classification.
